I had the honor and privilege in August to take a trip to Kenya with NewSpring. The song in the video that follows (“You Hold Me Now”) was the song God used in Kenya to break me for the hopeless, loveless, and fatherless. It broke me, in the greatest kind of way, knowing that every person that places his hope in Jesus Christ will one day be in the presence of a living, loving God that will blanket us with his undeniably intoxicating love.
While many in this world may not have fathers or mothers, food or drink, love or justice—something we do have is hope in a Savior that loves with a passion and adopts us as his own. And we have been called to take that hope to the world.
John 14:18
I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
God is too good!
Kenya was an experience I will never forget as long as I live…
